Description

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen staff in preparing and delivering high-quality meals. The Kitchen Assistant will be responsible for basic food preparation, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen setting is an advantage but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for long hours and perform manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs in food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and storing ingredients.
• Keep workstations clean and organized, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
• Assist in stock control and inventory management, including checking deliveries.
• Ensure that kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment are properly cleaned and stored.
• Dispose of waste and keep kitchen areas sanitized.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Support the kitchen team in any other duties as assigned.
