Demerara Distillers Limited & Subsidiaries (DDL) is seeking applications from experienced persons for the position of Gardener.

Requirements

•   Completion of Primary or Secondary School and two (2) years’ experience in landscaping or gardening 
•   Good communication, analytical, and leadership skills
•   A willingness to work flexible hours

Responsibilities

•   Maintain landscaping to ensure a visually appealing outdoor space, including planting, pruning, watering, and fertilizing various plants and trees
•   Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming, and removing weeds to keep outdoor areas clean and well-kept
•   Identify and address plant diseases, pests, and weeds promptly and implement appropriate solutions to protect the garden’s health
•   Operate and maintain gardening equipment and tools safely and efficiently
