JUNIOR AUDITOR – Unicomer Group

Description

In this role, you will conduct financial and operational audits across the organization to ensure effective internal controls are in place for identifying and managing risks.

Requirements

• ACCA, CIA, CPA and CGA or Degree in Accounting
• A minimum of Level 2 ACCA or alternative professional certification
• Knowledge of auditing practices, techniques and principles
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an audit or accounting environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good analytical and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, organized, assertive, goal oriented and displays a high level of ethics, discipline and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Effectively and efficiently performing audit evaluation and testing by examining business processes and controls for compliance with management plans and policies, evaluating whether controls are providing management with reasonable assurances regarding the achievement of the company’s operational, financial reporting, and compliance objectives.
• Working independently or as part of a team in planning, executing, and reporting on audit reviews or assigned segments of an audit.
• Preparing work papers accurately documenting work performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
• Providing guidance to audit assistants during audit assignments to ensure audits are efficient and meet objectives.
• As part of the Internal Audit team, keeping up to date on current activities, accounting and audit pronouncements, and information significant to the profession
• Perform any other related duties that may be assigned to you in an efficient and effective manner.
