The office clerk is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office, and a crucial role in maintaining organization, accuracy, and communication within the workplace.

Requirements

At least (3) subjects including English and Mathematics at CXC or equivalent.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

At least (2) years experience working in an office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Data Entry: Inputting information into computer systems, such as customer data, financial records, or inventory details.
  • Document Management: Organizing, filing, and retrieving documents as needed.
  • Customer Service: Responding to customer inquiries, providing information, and resolving issues.
  • Receptionist Duties: Greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments.
  • General Office Support: Assisting with clerical tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing.
  • Data Analysis: Gathering, analyzing, and reporting on data as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Tracking and managing inventory levels.
