Description
As a Procurement assistant At Chung’s Global Inc. you will play a crucial role in our procurement operations working with the team to support the acquisition of goods and services necessary for our operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in procurement or a related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
- CXC subjects including Mathematics and English.
- Knowledge of Quickbooks
Responsibilities
- Assist in the procurement process including vendor selection, negotiation and contract management.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities.
- Coordinate with internal department to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Prepare purchase orders and track order status.
- Assist in supplier relationship management.
- Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
