An Accounts Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and providing support to the accounting department. They handle day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring that financial data is up-to-date and readily available.
Requirements
- 5 CXC Subjects including Accounting
- Some post-secondary education or experience in accounting will be beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and processing payments to vendors.
- Accurately entering financial data into accounting software.
- Maintaining organized and up-to-date financial records.
- Preparing purchase requisition & voucher
- Providing support to the accounting team.
