BUSINESS CONSULTANT – Asian Sealand & Offshore Marine Inc

Description

The Business Consultant is responsible for strategizing, implementing, and overseeing processes to enhance productivity and growth in this sector. This role requires problem-solving skills, strategic planning and the ability to manage complex projects while fostering relationships with key industry partners. The consultant will work closely with project management teams to develop operational schedules, ensure cost efficiency, and drive overall business success especially in offshore marine projects. Knowledge of offshore marine type projects would be an asset.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS •

Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Marine, or related field.

• Minimum 10-15 years in offshore marine, shipyard, or project management roles • Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills
• Experience with project cost control and budgeting
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Knowledge of HSE and Quality standards in offshore marine projects

Responsibilities

➢ Establish and grow relationships with key partners, including FPSO representatives

➢ Interface with clients for all project matters, working with the project management team      

   to develop HSE and Quality programs

➢ Develop work schedules for fabrication, vessel construction, and dry dock scope

➢ Monitor and control project costs and budgeting

➢ Manage P&L and establish cost parameters

➢ Maintain a forecast and targeted sales attainment plan
