ASSISTANT PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR – Sterling Products Limited

Description

To co-ordinate the activities of employees and or operate the Plant efficiently to produce quality saleable products on a consistent basis.

Requirements

• Three (3) subjects CXC/G.C.E passes including Mathematics and English Language.
• Minimum of four (4) years working experience in a Food Manufacturing environment
• Excellent Communication skills.
• Must be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• To co-ordinate the activities of the Plant in accordance with the requirements of the Quality Management System i.e. the Quality Plans & Cleaning Schedule.
• Requisitioning of raw and packaging materials
• Inspections of raw and packaging materials upon arrival to the plant.
• Approval of facility after the cleaning and sanitation process.
• Operating the Plant efficiently to produce quality products under the supervision of the Supervisor.
• Co-ordination of employees work in the section to ensure smooth running of the operation under the supervision of your Supervisor
• Ensuring all relevant data relating to production is recorded on a timely manner in the Production Report, and on all Monthly Reports.
• Responsible for ensuring that all operating procedures are in place at all times adhered to. All relevant documentation relating to these procedures must be updated on a timely manner. You must ensure that at all times production occurs under sanitary conditions and reduce/eliminate the risk of contaminations or spoilages.
• Performing duties of Supervisor when necessary.
• Compliance with all Company Policies and Guidelines; e.g. Quality and Food Safety, health and safety requirements, etc.
• Ensuring proper care and custody of equipment.
• Responsible for the daily and monthly reconciling of all materials against the Accounting software system.
• Responsible for physical stock management and reporting at each month’s end.
