NATIONAL DRAINAGE AND IRRIGATION AUTHORITY

VACANCIES ANNOUNCEMENT

The National Drainage & Irrigation Authority invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions.

1. Driver/Mechanics
2. Hauler Driver
3. Truck Drivers

Minimum Requirements, Knowledge, and Experience:

(A) Driver/Mechanics

Main Responsibilities Include:

• Applicants must be licensed to drive (4×4) Pick-ups and Mini Buses.
• Applicants should have a minimum of five (5) years’ driving experience with a clean record.
• Applicants must produce a valid Police Clearance.

(B) Hauler Driver

Main Responsibilities Include:

• Operates low-bed machines and equipment (e.g., hauler, trailer).
• Keeps a logbook by recording quantities of fuel and oil used and particulars of all journeys undertaken.
• Must be skilled in the operation of the class of machine for the minimum of five

(5) years.

• Must have a valid license to operate the machine.
• Applicants must produce a valid Police Clearance.

(C) Truck Drivers

Main Responsibilities Include:

• Operates truck.
• Keeps a logbook by recording quantities of fuel and oil used and particulars of all journeys undertaken.
  Must be skilled in the operation of the class of machine for the minimum of three

(3) years

• Must have a valid license to operate the machine’.
• Applicants must produce a valid Police Clearance.
