Description

Responsible for protecting people, property and facilities, carrying out active surveillance, access control and timely response to incidents, ensuring a safe environment in accordance with local regulations.

This position will be in the Lethem area.

Requirements

• Minimum age – 18 years old.
• Completed secondary school or equivalent.
• Previous experience in security or surveillance (desirable)
• Physical capacity to conduct patrols and respond to emergencies.
• No criminal record.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic knowledge of safety and first aid procedures (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Patrolling and Surveillance:
  Regularly inspect and patrol premises, monitoring surveillance cameras, and identifying potential hazards or suspicious activity. 
• Access Control:
  Authorize entry for authorized personnel, monitor access points, and verify visitor information. 
• Security Enforcement:
  Enforce security policies, protocols, and regulations, ensuring compliance with safety measures. 
• Emergency Response:
  Respond to alarms, assess emergencies, and coordinate with emergency services. 
• Reporting and Documentation:
  Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incident reports, and observations. 
• Assistance and Support:
  Provide assistance to individuals in need, offer directions, and address concerns. 
• Visitor Management:
  Check visitors in and out, escort them to designated areas, and manage visitor logs. 
• Apprehension and Detainment:
  Apprehend and detain trespassers or perpetrators of criminal activity according to legal protocol before the arrival of law enforcement. 
• Property Protection:
  Protect company assets from theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues. 
• Training and Development:
  May be involved in training and development of other security personnel.
