Mezze Inc is seeking an organized, proactive, and people-oriented HR Coordinator to support the daily operations of the Human Resources Department. The successful candidate will assist with recruitment, onboarding, attendance management, employee records, policy administration, and general HR operations across the Company’s various locations. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new employees.
  • Prepare employment contracts, letters, and other HR documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee files and HR records.
  • Monitor attendance, leave, probationary periods, and employee documentation.
  • Support disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes.
  • Assist with payroll preparation by verifying attendance and employee information.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory employment requirements.
  • Coordinate employee training, engagement activities, and HR initiatives.
  • Respond to employee enquiries professionally while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Prepare routine HR reports and perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in Human Resources, Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of Guyana’s labour laws and HR best practices is an asset.
