Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain the employee time register.
  • Requisition detergents for the factories and bond laboratory on a monthly basis.
  • Perform photocopying for the office and factories.
  • Schedule meetings and take meeting minutes.
  • Maintain filing systems.
  • Answer telephone calls and make calls on behalf of the factories and bond department.
  • Prepare the employees’ absentee list.
  • Fax the daily stock-on-hand report to the Local Marketing Department.
  • Issue spare parts.
  • Coordinate factory tours.
  • Perform all other administrative and secretarial duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Five (5) CXC subjects, including English Language, or a Diploma in Office Administration or a related field, including English Language, with 2-3 years’ experience in a secretarial position; or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior secretarial position.
  • Excellent typing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
