BARTENDER (OUTLET/BANQUET) – AC by Marriott Hotel

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while providing exceptional guest service. This role ensures the bar is clean, fully stocked, and operated in accordance with hotel standards, liquor laws, and food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve beverages according to hotel recipes and standards.
  • Deliver friendly, efficient, and professional service to all guests.
  • Complete opening, closing, and side duties.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
  • Monitor and replenish bar stock, garnishes, and glassware.
  • Process cash, credit card, and room charge transactions accurately.

  • Assist with beverage inventory and cost control.

  • Ensure guest satisfaction and promptly address concerns.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year bartending experience in a hotel, restaurant, or bar preferred.
  • Bartending certification is an asset.
  • Knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and POS systems preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
  • Must be legally permitted to serve alcohol.
