Key Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, label and prepare rum and non‑alcoholic beverage samples for testing.
- Maintain and review control, flag out‑of‑spec results, and initiate corrective actions under QA supervision.
- Accurately record methods, observations and results and prepare compliance reports.
- Participate in laboratory audits, and projects aimed at optimising testing procedures and reducing turnaround times.
- Perform routine checks of lab environmental conditions.
- Mentor junior technicians and interns in lab best practices, safety protocols, and proper documentation.
Requirements
- A minimum of five (5) CSEC subjects, inclusive of Mathematics, English Language, Chemistry or Integrated Science, grades 1 to 3.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a diverse team setting.
- Ability to lead a team and work flexible hours.
