Key Responsibilities

  • Verify database integrity and proper operation, identifying and troubleshooting potential issues.
  • Manage access permissions to databases and other systems according to established security policies and requirements.
  • Monitor database performance and perform necessary adjustments and optimizations to ensure optimal performance and minimize response times.
  • Configure and maintain user accounts in Microsoft SQL Server, guaranteeing authorized access and data security.
  • Provide technical assistance to end users in the usage and configuration of applications developed in the .NET environment, ensuring their correct operation.
  • Regularly verify the correct execution of database backups, ensuring data availability in case of loss or system failure.
  • Develop SQL queries to extract specific information from databases according to business needs, facilitating analysis and decision-making.
  • Perform integration testing and Quality Assurance (QA) for applications developed in the .NET environment, ensuring they meet operational and usability standards prior to deployment.
  • Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve technical incidents and problems related to databases and .NET applications, providing effective and timely solutions to end users.
  • Execute corrective and preventive maintenance tasks on user hardware and software, ensuring system operability and minimizing potential disruptions or failures.
  • Participate in training and professional development programs to stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the field of information technology.
  • Perform other duties assigned by their immediate supervisor related to the position held.

Requirements

  • SOFTWARE ENGINEERING STUDIES OR A BACHELOR’S DEGREE.
  • TECHNICAL DEGREE IN SYSTEMS ENGINEERING / SOFTWARE ENGINEERING.
  • AT LEAST ( MINIMUM) 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN SIMILAR ROLES.
