CAGE (Guyana) Inc., is seeking a suitably qualified candidate to fill the position of Cleaner, according to the following criteria:

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications & Experience:

· Must possess secondary school leaving certificate.

· Must possess the ability to read, write and understand instructions.

· Should be familiar with commercial environments.

· Minimum of five (5) years’ experience performing similar duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Special Job Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

· Good verbal communication.

· Effective time management.

· Ability to work independently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Cleans and maintains bathroom areas in a sanitary condition.

· Mops floors, vacuums carpets and floors, to ensure they are kept clean and free of dust and debris. (Ensures that cleaning of floors does not involve the raising of dust so as to interfere with workers’ or patrons’ health).

· Ensures blinds, window ledges, mirrors, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, refrigerators and microwaves in staff/office areas are well dusted, clean and tidy.

· Empties trash bins in offices and common areas and ensures trash is disposed of as regulated.

· Ensures Office front and rear entries are properly cleaned.

· Perform other reasonable job-related duties as may be assigned by supervisor or management.
