Guyana Power and Light Inc. invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Internal Audit Manager.
This is a Senior Management position which offers exciting and meaningful opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic work environment as GPL implements its 2021 – 2024 Development and Expansion Program.
Working closely with the Divisional Director – Internal Audit, and an audit team of approximately twenty (20) support staff, the Audit Manager will be responsible, inter alia, for the design, development and implementation of risk-based audit plans and programmes; assess the effectiveness of managements systems; identify opportunities for improvement and make appropriate recommendations; the effective management of Division’s staff and the timely delivery of audit engagements.
