DRIVER – GIFTLAND OFFICE MAX

VACANCY 
DESCRIPTION

The position shall cover the following areas:

The Driver is responsible for delivering items to customers, making purchases and delivering company goods.

REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements/Specifications

Education:

· Must have 5 CXC subjects with passes in English and Math

· Valid Driver’s license for Car/Van/Motor Lorry with a clean driving record

Experience:

At least five (5) years’ experience in similar position would be an asset

Knowledge of retail industry is recommended but not required

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

1. Ensure that orders and errands are completed as efficiently and safely as possible

2. Use your time well.

3. Communicate requests to management.

4. Pick up goods from suppliers in a timely and cost effective manner

5. Make purchases from various suppliers for small items

6. Follow all Giftland Operational Procedures and Policies.

REMUNERATION/BENEFITS
Salaries and Benefits

Salaries and Benefits are based on Giftland existing salary scheme, and benefits are in accordance with the laws of Guyana and the policies of Giftland. These are all provided for in the Contract of employment.
