DESCRIPTION
The Guyana Sugar Corporation Inc. (GuySuCo) is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of Civil Engineer. The successful candidate would-be > positioned at the Agriculture Service Department, Head Office, LBI, East Coast Demerara.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Preparation of designs and bill of quantities for Agriculture related Civil Infrastructure works.
• Assist in the preparation offender documents, evaluation reports and payment certificates.
• Supervise projects and ensure compliance to specifications.
• Provide technical support for civil related Agriculture projects.
• Provide periodic reports on the progress of projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:
A Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University and three (3) years experience as a Civil Engineer.
Or
A Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University and five (5) years’ experience as a Civil Engineer.
