DRIVER / PROCUREMENT PERSONNEL (CANTER & BUS) – Demerara Sales and Services Inc

Demerara Sales and Services Inc. is seeking person(s) to fill the titled position.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s licence (preferably bus and truck class)
• Competent at driving both mini-bus and canter truck vehicles; understands manual transmission.
• Ability to handle purchase documentation, cash and records accurately
• Courteous demeanor and deportment
• Construction material knowledge is an asset
• Proficiency/qualification in Mathematics or Accounting at secondary or higher level is an asset.

Responsibilities

Individual(s) will be expected to:

• Efficiently procure a variety of construction and office supply materials.
• Maintain clear and organized documentation of transactions (receipts, vouchers etc.)
• Accurately handle cash, documentation and purchase transactions
• Perform general driving duties to shuttle employees to site locations or meetings.

Individuals will be expected to monitor performance and condition of vehicles being driven and schedule servicing and care at the necessary intervals.
