DELIVERY DRIVER – ECouriers Guyana Inc.

Description

• Deliver all packages in a timely manner, ensuring proper and complete transactions on the tablet/phone/wireless card terminals.
• Collect full payments before the package is released to the customer.
• Review daily run sheet via TABLET/PHONE and plan the day’s work.
• Scan, validate, and load all packages onto the van that are “Out for Delivery”.
• Ensure inventory scans are completed before their departure from the office daily.
• Ensure return scans are completed daily at the end of each workday.
• Inform customers of the item status of collections.
• Manage the collection of receivables.
• Collection and daily balancing of delivery postings.
• Lift bags and other items up to 50 pounds into the vehicle, warehouse and unload them at the destination.
• Refuels the vehicle as and when necessary.
• Keep in contact with the customer service staff by answering and returning calls and providing updates as necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position.
• At least 3 CX passes including Mathematics and English.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid defensive driving certificate would be an asset.
• Excellent driving record.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Team player.
• Detail oriented.
