NETWORK TECHNICIANS TRAINING PROGRAMME – DEMERARA ESSEQUIBO & OPERATIONS
The Guyana Power and Light Inc. is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons between the ages of eighteen (18) and twenty-five (25) years who are desirous of pursuing a career as a Network Technician. This is a nine (9) months training programme in the area of Electricity Transmission & Distribution.
On completion of this programme, Technicians will be assigned mainly to our T&D Zone 111 – West Demerara, Leguan, Wakenaam, Anna Regina and Bartica T&D Operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Grade I to III passes in English Language, Mathematics and at least one (1) Science subject at the CSEC General Proficiency Level.
OR -
A technician certificate from a recognized local or foreign Technical Institute.
