Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate control, storage, issuance and rotation of aircraft spares, tools and other stores items.
- Assist with preparing spares order lists, monitoring order status and advising when stock levels are low.
- Maintain the Tool Stores, tool registers and calibration records, ensuring tools are properly tracked, serviceable and returned.
- Ensure the safe storage and issuance of tools, equipment and commercial items used in aircraft maintenance.
- Carry out routine upkeep of designated hangar equipment and promptly report damaged, missing or overdue tools.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the Stores Procedure Manual, Maintenance Procedure Manual and applicable stores requirements.
Requirements
- Four (4) subjects (GCE) grades C or above, or (CXC) grades III or above. Inclusive of English, Math’s. Any other related subjects an asset.
- The Ability to work flexible hours.
- Any of the following will be considered an asset: Completed Module 1 training from a recognized Aviation Maintenance training Organization.
- Completion of any Inventory management related courses.
- At least one (1) year of experience as a Stores Clerk or two (2) years of work experience in a similar capacity.
