Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the vacancy of

ACCOUNTANT

Main duties:

• Preparation of financial statements for audit purpose
• Communicate with external auditors
• Preparation of monthly management account reports
• Consolidation of operating and capital budgets
• Responsible for bank reconciliation, all tax related matters with GRA, accounts payable and receivable
• Preparation of salaries and related statutory returns
• Preparation of annual returns for Company Registrar
• Maintaining the fixed asset register
• Posting of all vehicle sales and amorfild
• Posting of all vehicle sales and amortized interest
• Implementation of financial policies and procedures
• Managing the accounts department

Job requirements:

• An Associate of ACCA or a BSc degree in Accountancy from a recognised university with at least 5 years’ accounting experience
• Good customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage a team of accounting staff
