ACCOUNTANT

Guyana Industrial Minerals Inc. is seeking to rectuil an Accountant wbo will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate levels of internal control exist within the accounting systems and ptixcsscs.

Key DutkwRespondtsllities:

• Participate in. and perform, those financial accounting duties as part of the Month and Year-cod < low Process tn the preparation of the Monthly and Year-end financial statements, and to assist the Scnior Financinl Accountant in the execution of tlxsc duties.
• Enters signed olT Production Infucnialiun into the Del erred Stripping. Deferred Expense, ARO and Inventory Model
• Updalesand maintains the Fixed Assets Register
• Pronto Month End Reconciliation* in aceonfarce with Month End Close Schedule
• Pronto review when inegularities’incorrecl entries are done and investigate and correct same
• Any other accounting related duties reasonably expected of this position.

Required:

• Must have knowledge and al least 5 yeans poor experience of aeeouMing function activities routinely conducted in an accounting environment. such as financial close duties m the preparation of monthly and year-end rinnnci.il stntcmcmx. accounts payable md accounts receivable processes, disbursements, monthly reconciliations, etc.
• Mus; be pursuing, or pusses*. Level 2 ACCA<OTACMAor CA).
• Proficiency in the use of Microsofi Office.
• Knowlcdgcol ancslablisbcd ERI’systcm is requited.
