DESCRIPTION
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Global Edge is an award-winning recruitment agency connecting projects worldwide with the industry’s most talented project professionals. Our team is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant II to join one of our major oil and gas clients in Guyana.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- 5 years of demonstrated work
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize.
- Strong communication skills and organizational skills are required.
- Proficiency with MS Office required.
- Works with moderate work direction and can identify issues/problems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides administrative support to a department or individual. Duties may include:
- Typing, filing, answering phones, scheduling, calendaring, record keeping, coordinating meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies and/or sorting/distributing mail.
- May work on special projects to include recording, compiling, retrieving, reporting, and analyzing information.
- This position would typically include a senior Administrative Assistant who is able to manage, train and mentor other office staff, lead projects, handle confidential and sensitive data. The nature of the job is generally creating rather than maintaining and developing rather than monitoring.
REMUNERATION
Working Conditions
- Standard Schedule – 5 days on / 2 days off (Possible overtime)
