ADMINISTRATIVE
ASSISTANT
Location – Georgetown, Guyana
The Administrative assistant is responsible for providing the full range of secretarial and administrative support services to the Guyana office, including the Executive Office. The administrative assistant also manages the reception area, switchboard and the pantry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage switchboard and relay messages
- Provide information to callers, customers and the general public
- Provide administrative and clerical support
- Receive and sort mail and deliveries
- Schedule appointments
- Minute taking
- Monitor, purchase and restock groceries, stationery and printing supplies
- Open and close office on business days
- Assist with the planning and execution of special events
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar
- 1 -3 years of administrative experience
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and planning skills
