ADMIXTURE TECHNICIAN – Eve Anderson Recruitment Guyana

DESCRIPTION
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Sampling and testing of concrete specimens, concrete inputs adhering to all applicable industry standards and procedures.
Conducts concrete mix trials and tests as part of R&D and routine tests of concrete admixtures.
To build a measure of Quality Assurance in all products manufactured and sold by the Company.
To effectively install and calibrate Admixture dispensers in our customer’s Concrete plants
to set up and install and maintain admixture storage tanks on the customers concrete plants.

REQUIREMENTS
At least five (5) Ordinary Levels (including Mathematics and English), and or relevant technical certification from COSTAAT/equivalent recognized institution, or at least one (1) year of experience in a Quality Control or Testing Laboratory with specific experience in product testing, use of weighing and measuring devices.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
Provides quality service to all internal and external customers- telephone, walk-in, delivery, Internet and resolves/directs queries in a courteous and professional manner in line with Company’s standards
OTHER
Ensures that company achieves its QMS goals in order to maintain accuracy and precision of all test results and customer satisfaction in provision of laboratory services and products.
Provides vacation relief/assistance as needed and performs any other work-related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
