ARCHITECT – Xploy Incorporated

DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an architect to prepare design drawings for construction projects. This is a highly technical role requiring extensive familiarity with design principles, computer-aided drafting programs, and staying up to date with building codes to ensure that drawings are accurate and to present necessary information for approval bodies.

REQUIREMENTS
Use of Autocad
Use of Revit is a plus
Preparing detailed construction drawings, layouts, sketches, and graphic representations of architectural designs.
Must be detailed oriented, highly organized with excellent communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
SketchUp experience is a plus.
Creative and interior design experience and ability are a plus.
Ability to multitask and meet scheduled completion dates and deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide 2D CAD and 3D BIM services for interior design, pre-construction, construction and post-construction activities.
Create and maintain data for multiple projects to ensure information integrity and consistency during the conceptual design, pre-construction, and construction phases of each project.
Perform additional drawing assignments as needed.
Work under the company architect and collaborate with other drafters to perform drafting duties, as needed for multiple design and construction projects.
