ASSISTANT SURVEYOR – Total-Base Services Guyana In.

We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Assistant Surveyor to join our team on the Gas to Energy project in Wales, Guyana. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of field surveying experience and a proven track record of delivering accurate and precise results.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in land surveying or a related field.
• Diploma or Associate’s degree in Surveying Technology or a related discipline is preferred.
• Proficiency in using surveying instruments and software.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be a self-starter with initiative and a strong work ethic.
• Diligent and professional with meticulous attention to detail.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

  Work Schedule:

  • 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend work as needed).

  Additional Information:

  • This position requires working in close proximity to the Gas to Energy project site in Wales, Guyana.
  • Accommodation and transportation to and from the worksite can be provided.
  • The successful candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

• Assist the Lead Surveyor in all aspects of land surveying operations.
• Set up and operate surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels.
• Collect and record accurate field data, including measurements, coordinates, and elevations.
• Perform calculations and data analysis to ensure the accuracy of survey results.
• Prepare survey reports, maps, and other documentation as required.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while working on site.
