AUDIT CLERK – Chateram Ramdihal, Chartered Accountants, Professional Services Firm.

The Audit Clerk will support the audit team in performing assurance engagements by assisting with audit planning, fieldwork, and documentation. The role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual seeking to build a career in audit and accounting within a professional environment. Our working hours are 8:15 to 5:00 on Mondays to Thursdays and 8:15 to 4:00 on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with audit fieldwork for client engagements in accordance with audit standards
  • Perform basic audit procedures, including vouching, testing, and verification of transactions
  • Prepare and organize audit working papers and documentation
  • Assist in the examination of financial records, invoices, and supporting documents
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of accounting records
  • Assist in stock counts, cash counts, and other audit-related assignments
  • Comply with firm policies, audit methodologies, and confidentiality requirements
  • Provide general administrative support to the audit team as needed

  • Minimum five (5) CSEC subjects
  • Currently pursuing FIA
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
