Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care
- Mobility Assistance: Help client to walk, stand, enter or exit vehicles when necessary
- Ensure daily routines are maintained (eg. Hygiene, feeding, medication administration)
- Prepare and serve food based on age and nutritional needs
- Arrange transportation and accompany client to doctor’s visit when needed
- Household Chores
- Assist in grocery shopping
- Performing Light housekeeping
- Assist with Laundry and maintaining a clean, safe and healthy living environment
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in healthcare/ care for the elderly
- Certification in CPR training and First Aid training would be an asset
