CARPENTER – Demerara Distillers Limited

Demerara Distillers Limited & Subsidiaries (DDL) is seeking applications from interested persons with the requisite qualifications and experience, for the position of Carpenter.  

• Candidate should have at minimum Primary or Secondary education (no CSEC required) and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in carpentry.
• Good verbal communication.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

• Erecting and repairing to structures such as walls, floors, door frames using hand and power tools.
• Building or repairing cabinets, doors and other wooden structures.
• Shaping or cutting materials to specified measurements, using hand tools or power saws.
• Inspecting premises to ensure that all repairs are done proactively.
• Following established occupational, health and safety rules and regulations.
