The Bureau of Statistics invites applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the under mentioned vacancy:.

Chief Accountant

Applicants must possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from a recognised University or its equivalent.
• A minimum of three (3) years’ post- qualification supervisory experience in an accounting environment.
• Must be familiar with Government Accounting and knowledge of the Fiscal Management and Accountability Act and the Government Procurement Process.
• Excellent communication, analytical and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites and knowledge of Accounting Software.
