CHIEF MECHANIC

Main duties:

• Responsible for the management of the automotive workshop.
• Lead a team of highly skilled automotive technicians
• Diagnosing mechanical faults and assigning duties to technicians.
• Submits weekly reports to the General Manager on the status, objectives and achievements of the workshop.
• Collaborates with the General Manager in cleaning and detailing of new vehicles.
• Ensures a clean, safe and healthy work environment.

Job requirements:

• Certificate in automotive repairs and maintenance from a recognized vocational institution, with at least 5 years’ experience as an automotive technician.
• Working knowledge of automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of all health and safety practices in a mechanical workshop.
• Possession of a valid driver’s licence to drive carsand vans.
  • Have basic computer skills.
  • Customer service skill would be an asset
