CREDIT CONTROLLER – TOOLSIE PERSAUD LIMITED

DESCRIPTION

The credit Controller will be responsible for credit management of the Toolsie Persaud Limited & Group of Companies customers under the direct supervision of the Supervisor.

 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS
Sound Secondary School Education

Minimum of 4 years working experience as a credit controller or receivables officer.

Knowledge of computerized accounting software, eg. Quickbooks, sage 50, SAP, Microsoft AX or Oracle.

Ability to deal with clients at all levels

Excellent communication skills at all levels

Accuracy with attention to all details

 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Administer the company’s credit policy, conduct credit worthiness checks on prospective customers, advice on and/or grant credit requests.
Monitor debtor balances, plan and implement follow up actions, manage procedures for debt collection without damaging customer relationships. Meet monthly collection targets set by the company.
Send required notices to debtors within agreed timescales set by the company.
Liaise with banks to confirm customer payments, monitor/make general ledger entries and sales ledger updates, identify and resolve accounting transaction issues.
Reconcile bank accounts, and resolve disputed debtor balances on customer accounts. Generate, scrutinize and interpret/ comment periodic agent debtors’ analysis.
