Applications are invited for suitably qualified persons who are interested in being trained as Dentexs.
Contract: 3 years after training
Entry Level Requirements:
A MINIMUM of 4 subjects CXC/CSEC with at least grade 1, 2, 3 or GCE O’ Levels with at least A, B, or C in English, and any 2 of the following Science subjects; Chemistry, Physics, Integrated Science, Human and Social Biology or Biology, Pass In Mathematics may be an asset.
OR
Holders of Certificate in Community Dental Therapist (CDT) in addition to English Language, Mathematics and 1 of the following Science Subjects – Chemistry, Physics, Integrated Science, Human and Social Biology or Biology with a minimum pass in Grade 111 for CXC or Grade C for GCE.
“Applicants should be between the ages of 18 to 35 at the time of Admission”.
Division of Health Sciences Education, the Regional Health Officer in the respective regions and the Ministry of Health website (www.health.gov.gy). The forms are to be completed and returned to Office of the Permanent Secretary along with a copy of your CXC or CSEC certificate and a copy of your birth certificate.
