Driver/Delivery Clerk
Job Responsibilities
- Operate motor van to transport cargo and follow best practices for safety on the roadways
- Operate electronic devices to record uplift and delivery of cargo with receiver’s signature
- Maintain constant communication with office dispatcher
- Meeting standard delivery completion timelines
- Interact with customers and provide service information when necessary
- Ensure safety and good condition of cargo up to final delivery
- Performing basic vehicle maintenance tasks
Basic Requirements:
Possess a valid vehicle driver’s licence for car & van;
Have a minimum of 5 years’ driving experience operating car and van. Be in robust health and able to lift items weighing approximately 90 lbs. Strong drive to achieve delivery targets within specified time.
Prepared to work non-standard hours for team achievement.
