ENGINEER – Green State Oil and Gas Services Inc.

We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Engineer based in Guyana to join our construction and engineering department. This position will involve working closely with our clients to design, develop, and oversee the implementation of various engineering projects that support our operations. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in engineering, with experience in project management and a strong commitment to safety and environmental standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., P.E. license) is highly advantageous.
• Proven experience in engineering, particularly within the oil and gas sector or related industries.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with multiple teams across disciplines.
• Experience working in Guyana or familiarity with the region’s engineering standards and practices is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site in various locations within Guyana as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project teams to design, plan, and oversee the construction and maintenance of facilities and systems.
• Evaluate project plans and proposals to ensure they meet technical specifications and align with business objectives.
• Perform and manage project feasibility studies and technical evaluations.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for project stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international engineering, safety, and environmental standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues that arise during project execution.
• Ensure adherence to the company’s safety programs including ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 45001 Occupational Safety & Health Management System and ISO 37001 AMBS systems and procedures.
• Provide technical advice and consultancy on engineering methods and solutions to clients and team members.
• Actively participate in bi/tender process involving the company in private and public bids/tenders, supporting and submitting a CV as part of the bidding processes.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to the oil and gas industry.
