Description
The Facilities Manager at Muneshwers Limited will be responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance, and operations of all company facilities. This includes ensuring a safe, secure, and well-functioning environment for employees, customers, and other stakeholders. The role also includes managing budgets, handling maintenance teams, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in facilities management or a similar role, preferably in a commercial or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance, health and safety regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing teams.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Budgeting and cost control.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Facility Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of company buildings, grounds, and infrastructure, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Maintenance: Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs, ensuring timely repairs and inspections of electrical, plumbing, AC, and other essential systems.
- Budgeting: Create and manage facilities budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the facility is in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including fire safety protocols and building codes.
- Vendor Management: Oversee contracts and liaise with external contractors and service providers for various facility-related services (e.g., cleaning, maintenance).
- Space Management: Plan and optimize space usage to meet operational needs, including office layouts, workspace allocation, and storage solutions.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Implement energy-saving measures and sustainable practices across all facilities, contributing to the company’s environmental goals.
- Security Oversight: Ensure security systems and protocols are effectively managed, including surveillance, access control, and emergency response plans.
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of maintenance staff, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and meeting performance expectations.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on facility operations, budgeting, and performance for senior management.
