FITTER / MACHINIST – Demerara Distillers Limited

To provide technical support in the running and managing of food processing machinery in a plant environment.

• Technical or Craft certification in any technical field
• Completion of Secondary education with three years of working experience, with exposure in the technical field
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours

• Operate and ensure machinery is functioning optimally accordingly to internal work instructions
• Perform corrective maintenance promptly in the event of machine breakdown / protective trips, etc, to minimize downtime
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities on machinery
• Record and log necessary machine information and parameters
