Description
The Foreman is responsible for leading the crew to complete daily tasks related to the project scope. The objective is to oversee, accomplish and ensure all work quality related to each project and assume full responsibility for its standard and timeliness.
Requirements
Applicants Must:
- Have a certificate in the Technical field;
- Have previous experience in land development and /or ground works with at least 3 years’ proven experience as a Foreman in an Oil and Gas or Construction environment;
- Have knowledge of PPE and basic safety precautions;
- Have basic knowledge of MS Office;
- Have the ability to work independently, work flexible hours and to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:-
- Interpret project drawings accurately and direct workforce to execute tasks according to detailed specifications.
- Inspect work to ensure job quality and communicate with sub-contractors.
- Coordinate and delegate daily tasks to team members.
- Arrange the workforce into its working groups across the work site.
- Document, record and approve work performed, materials used, equipment operated etc.
- Ensure there is a record of shift attendance.
- Ensure all workforce follow laid down HSE procedures/regulations when on site.
- Ensure the operators check the work site being operated during the shift complies with the relevant PRC/Client standards.
