HSEQ MANAGER – Qualco

DESCRIPTION
THE HSEQ MANAGER, WILL IMPLEMENT, COMMUNICATE, AND COORDINATE
ALL ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH AND SAFETY PROGRAMS AS WELL AS
OVERSEE THE QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR QUALCO GUYANA. THIS
POSITION IS REQUIRED TO INTERFACE BETWEEN THE COMPANY’S VARIOUS
SUPPORT FUNCTIONS AND FIELD OPERATIONS.

REQUIREMENTS
2-3 years of industrial safety supervision or management experience
Formal training in HSE and/or QMS would be preferred
Knowledge and understanding of Oil & Gas HSE culture and requirements
Ability to effectively communicate at various levels
Presentation and training skills would be an asset
Able to work flexible hours as needed
Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
Able and willing to travel internationally for training and exposure
Must be a Guyanese citizen

RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate and lead safety meetings for employees at crew changes and on job locations.
Participate and assist where needed in JSA development.
Provide HSE support and feedback to employees.
Coach and mentor employees in the various processes and guidance documents used by the company.
Assist in the event response, investigation and review process.
Participate in required training programs and provide feedback on quality, safety, security and environmental issues.
Provide management with reports and data as required.
Follow and support continual HSE & QMS process improvements
