The Human Resources Generalist will support various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. This role is integral to fostering a positive work environment and ensuring that HR policies and practices align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in HR principles, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of dedicated Human Resources experience in a generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of local labour laws, regulations, and best practices.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Experience with HRIS systems and benefits administration.
- Proficiency in HR software, Microsoft Office Suite, and general office equipment.

Working Conditions:

Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Staffing:
- Support with the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
- Support with coordinating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure a smooth hiring process.
- Support in managing the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and initial training.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Support managers in addressing employee performance issues and resolving conflicts.
- Promote a positive workplace culture by fostering open communication and collaboration.
- Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, and leave policies.
- Assist employees with benefits-related questions and resolve issues as they arise.
- Coordinate open enrollment periods and communicate benefits information to employees.
- Compliance and Record Keeping:
- Ensure Human Resources practices comply with local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files, certifications, and training documentation.
- Assist with audits and ensure documentation is up-to-date and compliant.
- Training and Development:
- Support the development and implementation of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate training sessions and track attendance and feedback.
- Assist with performance management processes and employee development plans.
- HR Administration:
- Contribute dedicated information towards compilation of HR reports, including turnover statistics, recruitment metrics, and employee surveys.
- Manage HR-related administrative tasks such as preparing employment letters, processing HR forms, and updating employee information.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Employee Wellness:
- Promote employee wellness programs and initiatives.
- Support work-life balance efforts and employee engagement activities.
- Address health and safety concerns and ensure a safe work environment.
