Key Responsibilities
- Planned Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, checking refrigerant levels, and lubricating moving parts. Oversee and monitor subcontractors working on site within HVAC discipline
- Reactive Maintenance: Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC systems, including identifying and replacing faulty components.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot complex HVAC problems, using diagnostic tools and knowledge of system operations
- Subcontractors: Oversee and monitor Subcontractors working on site within the HVAC discipline
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed, including interfacing with Nuvolo or the Nuvolo planner
- Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while working on HVAC systems
Requirements
- EPA Section 608 Certification-Universal type preferred
- Completion of an HVAC training program or apprenticeship (certificate or associate degree) preferably Level 2 certification
- At least 3-5 years working with HVAC systems.
- Must have manufacturer-specific training for: Mitsubishi City Multi, Trane VRF, Libert Precision Cooling Systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Willingness to work overtime and on-call as needed
