CCI, a Publicly Traded Company engaged in the production of Corrugated Packaging and related products, is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following vacancy:

Career Opportunity – INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN

Job Objective: Maintain in good working order the company’s electrical plant, processes and utilities equipment to achieve maximum availability.

Duties Include: (1) Conducting troubleshooting exercises and executing emergency repairs (2) Performing scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing to all the plant, process, utility and power generation equipment including conducting all inspections and checks recommended by the equipment manufacturer (3) Documentation and recording of logs and preparation of reports.

Requirements: (1) Technical certificate(s) from a recognized institution in the electrical field (2) 5 years’ post qualification expenence working with 460 volts. 3 Phase Systems inclusive of but not limited to Control Systems (3) Knowledge of Motor starters including Direct-on-Line starters, Soft starters, Star-Delta starters (4) Knowledge of Power Generation and distribution Equipment (5) Knowledge of AC variable speed drives and controllers (6) Knowledge of pneumatic controls and systems (7) Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) will be an asset (8) Must be able to work shifts.
