We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Clerk to join our dynamic shipping company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient stock management, and compiling a daily inventory report. This role plays a critical part in supporting our logistics operations and ensuring that our inventory levels meet business needs.
Requirements
5 Subjects CSEC
Proven experience as an inventory clerk or in a similar role, preferably in a shipping or logistics environment.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock counts and timely updates in the inventory management system.
- Accurately input and maintain inventory data in the database, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments.
- Assist in preparing items for delivery, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure the accuracy of stock on hand and identify discrepancies.
- Provide support to internal teams and respond to inquiries regarding inventory status and availability.
- Additional duties as assigned
NOTE:
- This position may require standing for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- May involve occasional overtime during peak shipping seasons.
