We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Clerk to join our dynamic shipping company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient stock management, and compiling a daily inventory report. This role plays a critical part in supporting our logistics operations and ensuring that our inventory levels meet business needs.

Requirements

5 Subjects CSEC

Proven experience as an inventory clerk or in a similar role, preferably in a shipping or logistics environment.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

Responsibilities

  1. Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock counts and timely updates in the inventory management system.
  2. Accurately input and maintain inventory data in the database, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments.
  3. Assist in preparing items for delivery, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
  4. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure the accuracy of stock on hand and identify discrepancies.
  5. Provide support to internal teams and respond to inquiries regarding inventory status and availability.
  6. Additional duties as assigned

NOTE:

  • This position may require standing for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • May involve occasional overtime during peak shipping seasons.
