We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Assistant to join our team. The IT Assistant will support our IT department in providing hardware and software support, managing inventory, assisting with sales operations, and contributing to marketing efforts. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining IT systems, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of our company’s technology infrastructure, and supporting marketing initiatives to promote our products and services.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: Prior experience in an IT support role or related field is preferred. Experience with marketing or digital marketing tools is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Understanding of basic marketing principles and digital marketing tools (e.g., social media, email marketing, SEO).
- Creativity in developing marketing content and campaigns.
Working Conditions:
- May require occasional travel to client sites.
- Must be able to lift and carry IT equipment (e.g., computers, monitors).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, as needed. 6 Days per week needed.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support:
o Provide first-level support for software issues.
o Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware and software.
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues with computers, printers, networking equipment, and other technology.
o Support remote users with technical issues via phone, email, or remote access tools.
2. Hardware and Software Management:
o Assist in the setup of IT equipment such as desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
o Install and update software applications, ensuring they are properly licensed and up to date.
3. Inventory Management:
o Track and manage inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software.
o Maintain accurate records of IT assets and update inventory systems as necessary.
4. Sales Support:
o Provide support to the sales team by preparing quotations and processing orders for IT products.
o Assist in managing customer inquiries related to products and services.
o Help maintain customer records and track sales orders using CRM software.
5. Marketing Support:
o Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns to promote products and services.
o Help create marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, and social media content.
o Support the maintenance and updating of the company website and social media profiles.
o Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing insights and suggestions for improvement.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain documentation for IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
o Help document customer interactions and sales activities.
