IT ASSISTANT – Interlinc International

DESCRIPTION
The main role of IT assistants is to install, configure, and maintain computer network systems for a company. They are responsible for ensuring that their company’s computer network is functioning properly and up-to-date.

REQUIREMENTS
Network Essentials/A+/MCP/MCSA/Diploma/Degree.
At least 1 – 4 years of full-time experience in similar responsibilities and/or strong networking/Database background.
Must possess knowledge of using VMware
Must possess knowledge of DHCP, Active Directories.
Ability to travel to provide IT assistance to other locations (locally and internationally).
A good sense of flexibility and priority.
Willingness to work extra hours as required by the job.
Experience interacting with senior leadership.
Must have SSIRS, Access Database Knowledge as well as SQL,
Possess Knowledge on Reporting applications
Demonstrated ability as a team player.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide troubleshooting assistance and IT support to all Interlinc employees and offices in IT related issues (over 50 PCs).
Assist the IT Coordinator in the regular backup procedure (user data, mails, etc.).
Assist the IT Coordinator in monitoring compliance with IT policies and procedures.
Provide advance user helpdesk support. (Zoho,)
Daily check of log files for all the server and firewall.
Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
Maintain anti-virus definition files to ensure it’s up to date.
Keep updating hot fix and system patches and service packs to all the servers and clients.
Maintain and support hardware/software (Printers and Copier are included).
Provide IT support on the following issues: End user support – Hardware and Software; Application support; End user enquiries.
Assist in workflow management.
Perform other duties as requested by the and IT Coordinator.
