JANITORIAL SUPERVISOR – Multicinemas (Guyana) Inc

MovieTowne is seeking a dedicated and experienced Janitorial Supervisor to lead our cleaning and maintenance team. This position is crucial for ensuring that our mall and cinema facilities are kept in pristine condition, providing a safe and welcoming environment for our patrons and staff. The Janitorial Supervisor will oversee daily operations, coordinate cleaning schedules, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across all areas of the premises.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a janitorial or maintenance role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Tolerance to work in various environmental conditions, such as heat, cold, or exposure to cleaning chemicals.

• Supervise a team of janitors and cleaning staff, providing clear instructions and direction.
• Schedule shifts and assign tasks to ensure all areas are covered, especially during peak hours.
• Train new hires on cleaning protocols, safety procedures, and the use of equipment.
• Ensure all areas of the mall and cinema, including restrooms, common areas, theaters, and food courts, are clean and well-maintained.
• Perform inspections of the facilities to monitor the quality of work and identify areas needing attention.
• Manage inventory and supply orders for cleaning products and equipment.
• Interact courteously with patrons, addressing any concerns or complaints regarding cleanliness.
• Work with the management team to support events or special functions, ensuring areas are cleaned and set up as required.
• Clean all areas of the mall and cinema, including restrooms, common areas, theaters, and food courts.
• Assist with other functions are required.
